Since the dawn of time until today, the history of humanity has been shaped by many men and women who dared to be themselves, who broke through limitations and comfort zones, who fully unleashed their potential in various fields: politics, engineering, motor industry, arts, and more. A major asset for a life of authentic impact, self-confidence has often been seen as an admirable virtue in society. However, it can be weakened when built on poor foundations. Fortunately, there are various levers that allow you to build your self-confidence on unshakable foundations. These levers consist of immutable divine principles that have proven their worth over generations. The good news I am here to share with you is that these principles will transform the course of your life if you decide to move from reading to daily practice. Dive into the discovery of these principles to dare to be yourself.

Extrait

"From a very young age, no one in my presence has ever had the impression of facing a vagrant. I command respect, and I don't even try." This statement, made by my husband, Messir N'NAH NDONG, is one of the first things that left a significant impression on me about him. My father, Apostle Yvan CASTANOU, the senior pastor of Impact Christian Center churches, often says, "No matter how hard I try to be afraid, I can't... even if I force it, I can't." These two men embody for me the very essence of self-confidence. What sets apart those people who speak with such assurance and act with such ease from others? What makes the difference between those who see the challenges that arise on their path as opportunities to progress, and those who see them as insurmountable obstacles? What makes some people navigate periods of uncertainty better, while others become completely overwhelmed to the point of developing illnesses such as high blood pressure? What differentiates those who easily make friends from those who struggle to form connections and express their needs? What distinguishes those who set goals and achieve them, despite multiple failures, from those who dare not attempt anything or who give up for fear of failing again? While this can be attributed to various factors—such as education, family environment, and past experiences—it remains true that all these elements impact self-confidence, contributing to low self-esteem or a lack of self-esteem. Self-confidence is the belief in your own abilities, in your potential to reach the heights of your true aspirations. It is the common denominator of all those who achieve greatness, who achieve their dreams, who see their goals through to the end. Some build it on fragile foundations, while others build it on their faith in God. Though often used interchangeably, self-confidence and self-esteem are slightly different. Self-confidence primarily refers to the belief in one's abilities, while self-esteem also encompasses the sense of personal worth. This confidence capital is generally built during childhood and can vary from person to person. Some may have naturally high self-confidence, while others may struggle to develop or maintain it. However, one thing remains certain: it is accessible to everyone!
